My mission on this Website (Fatty Liver Diary) is to provide you with all the information you need to make educated choices when it comes to reversing your fatty liver disease. This, however, should not replace the expert advice of a healthcare provider.
The articles I write and publish on the website are based on personal experience on the matter (more on this below) as well as in-depth research of the highest quality sources available online and offline, including other official websites, research studies, doctors and other current or former patients diagnosed with fatty liver disease (MASLD, formerly known as NAFLD).
About the Author
This blog is the creation of Lynn Luciano (myself), a former patient who was diagnosed with Fatty Liver Disease in 2014.
Since then, I have not only managed to reverse my fatty liver but also kept it reversed for over a decade, devoted countless hours to learning and understanding the disease to be able to help others better understand it and especially what steps to take to help their recovery as well.
Though not a doctor, my direct experience and extensive research offers an insightful, useful, and comprehensive perspective on this health condition. You can read more about me here.
Content Creation and Originality
I take pride in the fact that every piece of content on this website can be considered human-created and bears the personal touch of our author (me), who has personally edited all the articles on the website.
While I have started to use AI tools to generate various parts of content on this website, I use them mainly as the editor of the said content (mainly the produced articles) and not as the main writer. In other words, I always write the articles myself, but sometimes run them through an AI tool for advice to make them smoother, more natural, and eliminate various errors.
However, I always double check and edit the output, making sure that all articles published on Fatty Liver Diary are my own, sharing my thoughts, conclusions, findings and personal opinion.
I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism since 2007 and extensive experience with various media publications, from traditional print to radio, TV and especially online media.
Commitment to Accuracy and Quality
My primary focus is to provide well-researched, accurate, and insightful content about fatty liver disease aka MASLD.
Every piece of information is carefully vetted, and content is routinely revised and updated to maintain its accuracy.
However, given the ever-evolving nature of medical science and health advice, readers should always consult healthcare professionals for medical advice, since I am not giving medical advice on this website and the content here should not replace the advice given by a trained individual.
As I mention throughout the website, I am a patient who managed to reverse his fatty liver, and I am sharing what worked, as well as all my findings in the field of MASLD, as it might prove helpful to other patients.
Transparency and Disclosure
I firmly believe in maintaining transparency with this blog’s readers. Any potential conflicts of interest will be clearly disclosed.
The author retains full editorial control, and any opinions expressed on the blog solely reflect the author’s views and are independent.
Updates and Revisions
As part of my commitment to providing current and accurate information, I routinely review the content on this blog to reflect the most recent developments in the understanding of Fatty Liver Disease.

While this blog aims to provide valuable insights into Fatty Liver Disease based on personal experience and extensive research, it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Readers are encouraged to consult healthcare professionals for any medical queries or concerns.
